Calderwood Reservoir (Cheoah dam to Tennessee State line) (150 acres)

Yellow Creek (entire creek) (9 miles)

Santeetlah Creek (Johns Branch to mouth of lake)* this designation came from the NC Regulations Digest but doesn't seem right to me.  Fished here 2 years ago, but lost my notes.  Seems like stocked portion begins at Wright Creek.  I haven't fish this lower section.

Huffman Creek (Little Buffalo Creek) (enitre creek) (1 mile)

Mountain Creek (game lands boundary to S.R. 1138 bridge) (6 miles)

Wild Waters

Big Snowbird Creek (game lands portion above old junction)* good fishing and nice trail, old railroad bed.  Road ends at old junction, above Middle Falls look for brookies and lots of them. For more information click here!

John's Branch (entire branch)* tributary to Santeetlah Creek

Santeetlah Creek (headwaters to John's Branch)* see note above about designated section.  Fairly easy access, moderate fishing pressure.

Indian Creek (entire creek)* rather small and tight but nice size fish for size of water and lots of them.

Sassafras Creek (entire creek)* tributary to Big Snowbird, fairly tight but well worth fishing.

South Fork Squally Creek

Squally Creek

Wright Creek (entire creek)* rather small and tight but some nice size fish for size of water.

Slick Rock Creek (entire creek)* it didn't get it's name by being easy to wade.  Nice water, easy access to lower portion but hiking is required to upper sections. Click here for pictures.
